Trevor: 5/7/2011; 10AM; 1/320; f4.5; Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi |
With Trevor I slightly got rid of some exposure, added fill light, blacks, contrast, vibrance, and saturation. I look way some clarity so the rocks would have a slight blur. I added some highlights and vignetting. I wanted the picture to look more life like and not flat and dull. I wanted more of the focus to be on him and so I had to make him stand out from the rocks.
Waterfall: 5/7/2011; 3PM; 1/160 f5.6; Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi |
This waterfall photo is a raw image. I increased the temperature, brightness, fill light, vibrance, saturation and blacks. I look away some of the exposure. I wanted the picture to look a little bit more fake. The water turned that blue with the changes I made. I didn't have to mess with any of the hues.
Train: 4/28/2011; 2PM; 1/40; f20; Nikon D3000 |
This photo I got rid of some of the exposure and brought out some of the blacks and made it more vibrant. I lessened the highlights and added vignetting. I added more of a blue hue so that the clouds would have more definition.
Fantastic job with all of your photos this week! I love the edits you did on all of them. I like the yellow tint of the photo and what you did with the vibrance / saturation, they really made the colors pop out. The waterfall turned out really good also. I like how the water is a little blurred and the blue color of it. The gold color of the rocks also looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI really like the waterfall one, the edits really make it come to life and just look so dreamy. i just love how rich the colors are. The little boy is just adorable that only thing is that I think that he is starting to look a little yellow, but that could just be a look that you prefer. And I love how you made the clouds visible again in the train picture. Camera raw is just so cool, it is seriously like magic.
ReplyDeleteI love the train. The colors are beautiful, and the composure is spectacular. The richness of the colors are gorgeous. (I also love your blog setup!)
