Waterfall: Ogden, UT; 5/7/2011; 3PM 1/160 sec; f/5.6; Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi
I merged the photos together using photomerge. There wasn't too much space to fill in around the edges so I just cropped the photo down. I then enhanced the exposure and the saturation to bring out the wetness of the rock to more of what I saw with my eye.
City View: 5/7/2011; 3PM; shutter speed: 1/160, 1/200, 1/100; f stop 10, 10, 7.1; Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi
I merged the photos together with photomerge. The unfilled spaces were in the top of the sky and the rock. I felt that There was enough of the white part of the sky and more than enough rock/mountain. Instead of filling it in I just cropped this picture as well. I then applied an exposure adjustment layer to bring out some more color in the sky.
I love the vertical waterfall shot you've got. The edits look great, the colors are so much richer, and it looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe other panoramic you have, however, looks good, but for some reason either in the color edits or perhaps it's just the way photoshop photomerged it, the cliff on the right hand side in the finished panoramic looks almost like it was photoshopped in (how ironic, right?). It has a dark line around it, making it feel like it doesn't belong. Wonder why that is.
